WEST, Texas (AP) — Willie Nelson has donated more than $120,000 for relief efforts after a fertilizer plant exploded near West, Texas, last month. Nelson’s representative gave a check for nearly $81,000 to the West Volunteer Fire Department.

Most of that money was raised during Nelson’s concert last month outside Austin celebrating his 80th birthday. About $40,000 was donated to nearby Abbot, Nelson’s hometown.
