REALITY ROUNDUP: COCHRAN WINS “SURVIVOR”, NEW DANCES FOR “STARS”

Survivor: Caramoan - Fans vs. Favorites

LOS ANGELES (AP) – He looks and talks more like a “Jeopardy” champion. But Cochran has emerged as the winner of this year’s “Survivor.” The nerdy-looking Ivy League grad made the grade by capturing enough votes to be crowned champion. He says he has been studying the game for years – and even wrote his thesis at Harvard on the reality show – and how to win. Cochran learned his lessons well enough to beat out Dawn and Sherri, the other two finalists. Cochran says he’s still as much of a nerd as he was before – he’s just not as self-conscious about it.

The five remaining celebrities will perform two routines tonight on “Dancing With the Stars.” One will be a new style of dance that was chosen by viewers. The other will be a ballroom or Latin dance they haven’t done before. Tomorrow night, The Wanted and Avril Lavigne will perform before another star is sent home.

The final 12 perform tonight on “The Voice.” Tomorrow night, the two singers with the fewest number of votes will be sent home. Each coach starts with three singers.
