The Chadron State men held onto the team lead at the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Outdoor Track Championships at Colorado School of Mines after the javelin…the first event of the final day…but overwhelming pre-meet favorite Adams State is nipping at their heels.
The Eagles got a 5th from Sean Munger and a 7th from Phil Rivera, but Adams State throwers finished 2nd and 3rd to trip the CSC lead from 12 points overnight to just 4 at 69-65.
None of today’s women’s events are finished yet. The first running event of the day…the 4×100 relay…is scheduled to start at 11:00 with the last one…the 4×400 relay…set for 3:05.
