Great prizes valued at over $22,000 were presented to 35 lucky ticket holders during the annual Alliance Lions Club Lottery dinner held Friday night, May 3, at the American Legion.

 The Lions also presented $12,400 in checks to six community entities from revenue realized from the $100 a person tickets that were sold to over 300 people. 

$3,000 went to the Hemingford Legion Memorial Park
$3,000 was also donated to the Alliance Dog Park that will help pay for a new underground sprinkler system.
$2,700 to the Alliance Volunteer Fire Dept.
$1,600 to Keep Alliance Beautiful
$1,500 to the Bulldog Backpack Program
$600 to Dobby’s Frontier Town

 $500 scholarships were also awarded to Alliance High School seniors Ashtyn Shrewsbury and Haley Henton, and Hemingford High seniors Kyle Kumpf and Christina Kramer.
