A teenage girl from Pennsylvania missing for 10 days was found safe in southwest South Dakota Saturday and a man described as a family friend is in custody in South Dakota on charges of kidnapping and custodial interference.
Police say 13-year-old Alexandria Sewell disappeared in the middle of the night March 28 from her home and was found in Martin with 31-year-old Joshua Baker.
Authorities say Baker is a family friend, but haven’t said why they believe he took the girl with him. It’s not clear when he’ll return from South Dakota to face the Pennsylvania charges.
