KELLY CLARKSON, SCOTTY McCREERY RETURN TO “AMERICAN IDOL”

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Two “American Idol” winners return to the stage that made them famous for Thursday’s results show. Kelly Clarkson will perform her new single, “People Like Us.” Scotty McCreery will sing but has not announced what the song will be. On Wednesday, the “Idol” contestants will each sing two songs. One will have the theme, “A Song I Wish I Had Written.”

‘DANCING WITH THE STARS”

LOS ANGELES (AP) — The 10 remaining contestants on “Dancing With the Stars” pick their own song to dance to tonight. They were asked to choose a song that represented a memorable time or experience in their life. Each star will have to do a solo as part of their routine. Tomorrow night, Brad Paisley will perform. And Jennifer Lopez will do a duet with Andrea Bocelli. Then, another celebrity will be sent home.  Also Kellie Pickler will be dancing to a special song on tonight’s “Dancing With the Stars.” Pickler tells Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show that her husband Kyle Jacobs will perform “Say I Do,” which he wrote for their wedding while she and Derek Hough do the rhumba.

”THE VOICE”

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Round five of the blind auditions is tonight on “The Voice.” It’s the second to last round. Tomorrow night will be the last chance for the mentors to pick singers for their team.
