REALITY TV RECAP

”DANCING WITH THE STARS”

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Wynonna Judd is the first celebrity voted off “Dancing With the Stars” this season. No one was voted off last week, because Dorothy Hamill had to withdraw due to an injury. It’s no surprise that Judd gets the boot. She had the worst judges’ scores this week and has never had scored well. Judd says she’s a singer not a dancer. Judd adds she can’t wait to get to work on her new record. Andy Dick was the other half of this week’s bottom two. But he’ll get to dance again next week.

”THE VOICE”

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Blake Shelton jokes on “The Voice” he could be more than a coach to Savannah Berry. Shelton says he and Miranda Lambert are thinking about a family and at 17, Savannah is very adoptable. Savannah had already said Lambert was one of her musical influences. So, it’s no surprise she picks Lambert’s husband as her coach. Shelton and the rest of the coaches add two singers apiece to their teams. Usher picks up a model-turned-singer, who wasted no time in choosing Usher over Shelton. Next week, we’ll see the last of this season’s blind auditions

”AMERICAN IDOL”

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Some of the “American Idol” contestants keep getting into trouble by forgetting lyrics or not being familiar with the songs they’re singing. The potential for more trouble is there tonight, as the top seven tackle classic rock songs, which were popular long before many of them were born. They can only pick rock songs, no ballads. Tomorrow night, Carrie Underwood and Casey James will perform before another contestant is voted off.
