MT. JULIET, Tenn. (AP) — Charlie Daniels is expected to be discharged from the hospital today after having a pacemaker installed yesterday. Daniels visited a doctor Monday with a mild case of pneumonia and was admitted to a hospital.

Tests revealed a pacemaker was needed. Daniels says he’s feeling better already and he looks forward to celebrating Easter with his family. He will spend the next two weeks recuperating at home.
