Peyton was one of the most valuable Lady Cardinals this season. She was second in scoring with 303 points during the regular season and tops at the C-1 state tournament with 46, giving her an overall season-high 349.
Her best performances came in two of the Cardinals’ most important games of the year, as she scored 21 in the district final victory over Gothenburg and 20 in the 3rd place game at state against Wahoo.
Her performance at state saw her named to the all tournament team. She will return next season for her senior year when she’s expected to be one of the leaders of the team.
