
CHADRON – Some excellent times are expected this weekend when the track in the Nelson Physical Activity Center at Chadron State College that was reconfigured and resurfaced last summer will be put to the test.
The Eagles will host their annual Twilight Meet on Friday and up to 500 high school track and field athletes, mostly from Wyoming, will converge on Saturday for the meet CSC annually hosts.
CSC coach Ryan Baily said only Black Hills State and South Dakota Mines have accepted the invitation to compete on Friday.
The college meet will begin at 3:30 p.m. Friday while the high school competition is set to start at 9 a.m. Saturday.
