On Wednesday night in the 8pm hour the Alliance Volunteer Fire Department was called out to a local residence in the 700 Block of Belmont Street in Alliance. According to Alliance Fire Chief Troy Shoemaker, this was due to a carbon monoxide (CO) detector activation. There were no transports to the hospital.
