According to Chadron Police Chief Tim Lordino, “The Chadron Police Department received a report that between the dates of June 13th and June 21st, a burglary took place at the Softball Concessions Stand at Hampton Field operated by the Chadron High School Girls Softball team. The suspect or suspects left muddy footprints on a picnic table that they pushed up against the wall to enter the stand through a window. A large amount of full size candy bars, Laffy Taffy, bubble gum, and Skittles was taken from the concession stand. The candy stolen was estimated to be a $170 loss to the Chadron High School Girls Softball Team concession stand.”
