
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Four Chadron State College wrestlers have been named to the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference All-Academic teams.
Mike Hill is a first team selection, while Dylan Fors, Devan Fors and Josh McCance are all second team members.
To be eligible, student-athletes must have a GPA of 3.30 or better, be a starter or key reserve and completed two semesters at their current institution.
Hill, a sophomore from Fort Laramie, Wyo., has a 3.58 GPA in business administration. He led the Eagles with a record of 24-11 at heavyweight and he also had a team-high eight pins.
McCance, a senior from Chadron, has a 3.61 GPA in social sciences. He went 8-13 during the season at 141 pounds.
Dylan and Devan Fors are twin brothers from Roseburg, Ore, and are both majoring in health sciences…Dylan with a 3.89 GPA and Devan 3.60.
Dylan, who received the RMAC Summit Award for having the highest GPA at the conference tournament,went 12-12 at 165 pounds while Devan compiled an 8-14 record at 174.
Coincidentally, one of their high school teammates also earned 2nd-team RMAC All-Academic honors. Chayse Jackson is a redshirt freshman at Grand Canyon University, and his college teammate…Kyle McCrite…is the RMAC All-Academic Wrestler of the Year.
