KEARNEY, Neb. (AP) – Authorities say three men have been arrested on suspicion of robbing a south-central Nebraska credit union office of nearly $123,000.
Federal prosecutors say two of them were taken into custody on Tuesday in Chicago. They’re identified as 29-year-old Patrick Wigley and 28-year-old Thomas Dunlap. The third suspect was arrested in Kearney, Nebraska. He’s identified as 28-year-old Clifton Hudson.
Hudson’s attorney didn’t immediately return a call Thursday from The Associated Press. Online court records don’t list the names of attorneys who could be contacted to comment on behalf of Wigley or Dunlap.
Police say the robbery occurred around 9:20 a.m. on Oct. 17 at the Kearney Eaton Employees Federal Credit Union office in Kearney. One of the men was armed with a handgun, but no shots were fired.
