
PUEBLO, Colo. – Chadron State College’s Karissa Moreland finished in sixth place at the ThunderWolf Ladies Spring Invitational Sunday in Pueblo, Colo, the same spot her team did in the 9-school invitational.
CSC as a team was 2 strokes higher in the second round than in the first…with their 359-361-720 just 7 strokes out of 4th place. Host CSU-Pueblo cruised to the team title with a 644…48 strokes better than runnerup Regis, a Pueblo school record for margin of victory.
The Thunderwolves were led by individual champion Hee-Leina Kim, who shot a 77-75-152 to beat teammate Dominique Dinallo by 8 strokes and Nicole Hulbert of Regis by 11.
Chadron State’s next action will be this Thursday, April 11, in a triangular in Spearfish with South Dakota School of Mines and Black Hills State.
